The U11’s led 2-1 through Matthew Hough and Harry Cunningham but Sutton Coldfield hit back
to snatch a 2-2 draw. The U12's march on with another close 2-1 victory and this win over Cannock
takes them top of their West Midlands' group.Another excellent result for the U13's who defeated
West Brom 3-1 with goals from Dunkley, Evans and Doran whilst the U14's virtually clinched the
Staffordshire League title with a comprehensive 4-0 mauling of Walsall. Daniel Turner (2) Rezwan Ata
and Jumaane Meggoe all on the score sheet.A fantastic fightback by the U15's saw them through to
the last 32 of the National Trophy with an extra time victory over Nottingham.Chad Birch scored our
first whilst Greg Stanford equalised with 3 minutes to go and then netted the winner.
On a quiet day for the Secondary squads the U11 'A' team crashed to their heaviest defeat of the
season.Daniel Hall scored an opportunist goal just before half time but by then Wolverhampton were
already four goals down. The second half was slightly better but the 6-2 scoreline didn't flatter
Bassetlaw .Cameron Bridgen scored our other goal with an excellent finish. In contrast the B team put
in an excellent performance and won 3-1 with Kyle Pearson helping himself to a hat trick as Wolves
surged forward at will making light of the arctic conditions.
