Wolverhampton Primary travelled to Telford for their opening West Mids fixture of the season on a day when the weather accounted for of all the Secondary games.
Kicking against the wind in the first half they found themserlves 2-0 down after only
15 minutes and as clear cut chances were always going to be at a premium there was
really no way back from this horrendous start and both goals should have been avoided. The opening goal somehow crept through the keepers fingers within minutes of the kick off when there seemed no hint of danger and Reece Mason headed the second into his own net on a morning best forgotten.
