The U15's giving debuts to Jamie Wood,Ricardo Samuels and Tobias Mwenwu opened their West
Midlands campaign with a home match against Cannock. After a close first half ,however, the visitors
took over with three quick goals before Sam Coles headed over the keeper with only minutes
remaining.A disapponting start but at least the Wolverhampton lads will have an opportunity to gain
their revenge when the two sides meet in the Staffordshire league in September.
The U15's hit back from last weeks disappointing show against Cannock to defeat a very strong side
from Brierley Hill & Dudley. The returning Josh Pitt gave far more balance to the midfield and yet
the visitors went ahead after 10 minutes against the run of play.Daniel Jones equalised, however,
after an excellent cross by Ashley Ebanks and a marvellous overhead kick from Chad Birch put us
in front before Brierley Hill & Dudley again tied the match at 2-2. Not to be denied Sam Coles
scored the winner to clinch a deserved 3-2 victory. The U14's were also in West Mids action
defeating Walsall 3-0 with two goals from Jonathan Baker and one from Danny Thomas.

The U15's entertained the Football Institute of Australia in a thursday floodlight fixture but proved
to be far too strong for their guests and swept them aside with a powerful display of attacking
soccer. They were so impressive in fact that they were hardly flattered by the 10-2 scoreline.Goals
came at regular intervals from Chad Birch (4) ,Josh Pitt (3), Wood, Rowley and an own goal.

The U11's began their season with two friendlies against Solihull. The A team match was of a high
standard with the visitors playing fast attacking football but Wolverhampton battled hard to snatch
a 2-2 draw with Connor Chambers and Ben Tarbuck both on target. The B team fixture was also
close with Wolves edging home through a brace from Jack Potts and a good finish from Josh Ashman.
The U14's march on and clinched the Staffordshire league points with a professional demolition of
Cannock.Jamie Breakwell, Danny Thomas,Baker and Clayton all on target in a 4-1 win.The U15's were
beaten 4-3 by Erdington & Saltley despite taking a 5 minute lead through Greg Stamford.Chad Birch
and Greg Pitt were also on target but they were made to pay for too many defensive lapses.
