Two matches beat the weather and both provided crucial wins for Wolverhampton. The U13's faced previously unbeaten West Bromwich and came back from a goal down to defeat the unbeaten league leaders with the help of two strikes from Keiran Whittaker, an own goal, and a good effort from Andre Streete. This win took the U13's to the top of the league although West Brom still have games in hand. The U11's won their first match of the season and a Jack Stanley goal secured a place in The Burton Shield semi final but it was a close run thing with the visitors giving everything on a heavy pitch. An excellent advert for schools football. The U15's got some welcome match play with a 1-0 victory in a friendly fixture against Stoke.
